Scope:

This Technical Specification covers testing of air conditioners, heat pumps and liquid chilling packages for part load conditions. It specifies the terms, the definitions, the methods for testing and reporting, and the calculation method for the cyclic and compressor reduced capacity. The temperature and system reduced capacities are excluded. This European Standard applies to factory made units defined in prEN 14511-1.
