Scope:
The code covers design, construction and maintenance requirements for systems for simple treatment and disposal of waste water with faecal matter and for surface water (rain-water) for soak-away of the resulting effluent to the ground. The requirements cover mechanical cleansing and soak-away together with connections and geometry of the systems. The systems are expected to cover the requirements until 10 persons.
