Scope:
This standard specifies the main characteristics of twines for general service made of polypropylene. It specifies the manner in which they are described commercially, and gives methods for testing. It prescribes methods of test permitting their verification and specifies the form of commercial presentation for the twines. This standard does not specify the agricultural twines made of polyolefin. These twines are specified in EN 906.
