Scope:
This standard applies to decoupling filters installed on the low voltage mains network and operationg in the frequency range 3 kHz to 148,5 kHz on low voltage mains network. It does not apply to general purpose filters for EMI suppression. It does not apply to protocol dependant devices except physical layer (frequency). It does not apply to filters incorporated in household equipment for example: washing machines and coffee machines.
