Scope:
1.1 This European Standard specifies the technical delivery requirements for round and flat bars and rod manufactured from the alloy steels listed in table 3, intended for hot-formed and subsequently heat-treated springs or cold-formed and subsequently heat-treated springs. The products are supplied in one of the heat-treatment conditions given for the different types of products in table 1, lines 2 to 6, and in one of the surface conditions given in table 2.
