Scope:
The standard describes dial gauges shock-resistant as well as non-shock-resistant with a dialinterval on 0,01 mm and a area of measuring on 0,4; 0,8; 3; 5 and 10 mm. For waterproof dial gauges there are some specific requirements which are not included in this standard.
