Scope:

This standard specifies methods and acceptance criteria for assessing the electrical performance of analogue and digital ultrasonic instruments for pulse operation using A-scan display, employed for manual ultrasonic non-destructive examination with single or twin transducer probes operating within the centre frequency range 0,5 MHz to 15 MHz.
