Scope:

This International Standard specifies a method of obtaining a representative sample from a lot of paper or board for testing to determine whether or not its average quality complies with set specifications including solid and corrugated fibreboard (see ISO 4046). For some tests, special methods of sampling may be necessary; these will be given in the International Standard for the appropriate method of test.
