Scope:
Graphical symbols are used to give a simplified drawn presentation of measuring equipment, helping devices and scales within the field of dimensional metrology. By use of graphical symbols measuring systems can be indicated which consist of different elements. They can be combined at random and are useable at various purposes, e.g. test and measuring procedures in technical articles and in manuals.
