Scope:
The standard describes dial indicators for linear measurement with mechanical indication (without electrical contacts) with dial intervals on 0,5; 1; 2; 5: 10; 50 micrometers and with an area of measurement on 0,05; 0,1; 0,2; 0,26; 0,5; 1,0 and 3,0 mm. For waterproof dial indicators there are some special requirements which are not included in this standard.
