Scope:
This report gives an overview of information models of the ECAD domain. The models are compared regarding their intent and style. More elaborated comparisons between EDIF versions 2 0 0 and CFI and between different EDIF versions were already presented at EDIF conferences, which considered also the contents of the models in detail. They are attached as appendices, and the relationships of this work to the general standardization activities and plans for future work are outlined.
