Scope:

This European Standard specifies the requirements for the contruction and testing of oil-immersed electrical apparatus, oil-immersed parts of electrical apparatus and Ex components in the type of protection "o", intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres of gas, vapour and mist. This European Standard supplements EN 50014, the requirements of which apply to oil-immersed electrical apparatus.
