Scope:

This part of EN 1129 specifies test methods for assesment of the safety of foldaway beds for domestic use. Folding beds, camping beds, convertible bed/chairs or settees are not covered by the standard. The tests are designed to be applied to a foldaway bed that is fully assembled and ready for use.
