Scope:

The object of this norm is to establish a nomenclature for European standard qualities of waste paper, by defining their composition and exclusions. It is not the purpose of this norm to specify all the qualities of waste paper that exist in the different markets, but rather to define those qualities commonly traded in the markets of the European Community. It is, therefore, not valid for use in the field of specific require- ments for food contact packaging and for sanitary and health.
