Scope:

The method specified in this part of ISO 1924 for the determination of tensile properties is related to the method specified in ISO 1924-1. This method uses a test instrument operating at a constant rate of elongation whereas the method described in ISO 1924-1 uses a constant rate of application of tensile force which causes failure in a mean time of 20 +/- 5 s.
